My Name is Brian and I have been following the stock market for about 15years. I spent 7 years as an Institutional Stock Broker selling stock research and IPO’s to Institutional investors(hedge funds/mutual funds/pensions,etc….). I have a college degree in finance and enjoy the stock market. I stick to stocks/options and don’t deal with futures/forex/etc……
I am continually learning and would say that I am well beyond all the typical mistakes that novice traders make (It can take a long time to pass that stage as the market will continue to confound and test you). My retirement accounts generally follow a trend following passive index fund philosophy and my active trading is focused on trend following and proper risk/reward setups.
Hopefully this site is able to provide at least a few readers with the proper attitude and tips to be more effective with their trading success.
